Rama Appeared as Ramananda with his
12 Disciples Incarnation of Twelve Maha Bhagavatas
Ramananda admitted all, high and low alike, into his Satsang. Among his twelve disciples, there were Brahmins, a Mussalman, a weaver, a Rajput, a Jat, a barber, a cobbler and two women. The twelve disciples were:
1 to 5 Narhariyananda, Sursurananda, Sukhananda, Bhavananda and Anantananda - Brahmins
6 Kabir, the weaver- Muslim;
7 Raidas, the Cobbler;
8 Pipa, the Rajput king;
9 Dhanna, the Jat;
10 Sena, the barber;
11- 12 Padmavati and Surasari, two lady disciples.
